Attendance Policy

WAIVERS: Participating in one of our classes, workshops, or events requires a signed waiver.   Persons under the age of 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent/guardian.

LATE ENTRY: Classes start at their scheduled time. Doors to the studio will be locked, and therefore late arrivals will not be admitted to the class.  Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your class to prepare, and complete any additional registration items. Within 5 minutes of class beginning, we will open up the class to people on the Wait List.

MISSED CLASS: Missing a class results in the class being deducted from you account or if on an unlimited package a late fee of $12 will be charged to your account.  If you can't make it, cancel online before our 12 hour window, or let us know ahead of time!

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made through the guest’s account.  We are not able to accommodate phone or email cancellations.  If you have been charged a late cancel fee and would like to discuss it with us, please send us an email at hello@kardiaathletica.com.

LATE CANCEL FEE: Reservations may be cancelled online at least 12 hours prior to the start time of the class.  Reservations cancelled within 12 hours of the class start time will be charged as if the class was attended or for our Monthly Unlimited clients or 4-week Introductory Offer clients a $12 late cancel fee will be charged to your account. There is no penalty for cancelling with more than 12 hours notice.

WAIT LIST: You may join the Wait List for classes that are fully booked.  Your position on the Wait List is displayed in your account.  If a space opens up more than 1.5 hours prior to scheduled class time, you will automatically be added to the class and will receive an email notification - the standard 12-hour cancellation policy will still apply.

Please manage any Wait List spots the same as regular reservations, and cancel Wait List spots if you can no longer attend to avoid being entered into a class and charged as if you had attended.

Special classes, workshops, and events may have cancellation windows that vary, and clients will be notified at time of registration.

PASS HOLDS AND EXTENSIONS: Class packages can be extended beyond their expiry by paying a $15 Extension Fee which will add another 6 months onto the membership. Monthly Unlimited Passes can be held once a year. Additional holds can be purchased with the $15 Extension Fee.

Getting Here

Getting Here

 Where are you located?

KARDIA is at 10 Lower Spadina Ave, which is on the North West corner of Lower Spadina Ave and Queens Quay in Toronto. Our studio is on the ground floor, and we have our own external entrance.

What is the best way to get to KARDIA?

We obviously endorse anything active as the best way to get here - walk, run, bicycle, inline skate, etc! We are conveniently adjacent to the Martin Goodman Recreational Trail, which is well maintained, even throughout the winter. We have a bike rack at the front of the building.

How can I get there via transit?

The TTC has two frequent streetcar routes that stop at Queens Quay & Spadina. The 510 Spadina and 509 Harbourfront streetcars are both frequent service routes, and both connect to Union Station. 510 Spadina also connects with the 504 King, 501 Queen, 505 Dundas, 506 Carlton, and Spadina Station.

I need to bring a vehicle. Where can I park near KARDIA?

Being near the CN Tower and Rogers Centre, there are paid lots nearby, though some are at a premium. One option is to park at Shoppers Drugmart (390 Queens Quay W, 1 block east of Kardia). They offer parking validation for purchases at Shoppers, and this location has a a grocery section and a post office. There are other lots in the neighbourhood, just pay attention to the rate, especially on days of Blue Jays games.

There is also some metered street parking on Dan Leckie Blvd and Rees St/Robertson Cres. These locations can be busy, however street parking is free on Sunday mornings.
